The Hidden Rules of High Performers

I know brands like Temu want you to "shop" like a Millionaire and Billionaire, but what about thinking like one? 👀

I was in the virtual room with millionaires and other successful entrepreneurs this past weekend, and you better believe I took notes!

If you're building something, you're going to want to take notes too!

HERE'S WHAT I LEARNED:

🤑 They're obsessive. They're obsessed with a lot of different things, but they hone in on one thing at a time. Finding your one thing to "obsess" over is step 1 in the success blueprint.

🤑 They use the "Back Door Strategy." They leverage the skills that they already have to get into rooms, that they wouldn't otherwise be invited to. Once in those rooms, they take FULL advantage of the opportunities that they come across. (CC: James Altucher).

🤑 They use a "No Scoreboard Strategy." They're never satisfied with winning just 1x. They keep pushing for bigger wins. (CC: Nehemiah Davis)

🤑 After they see success in their lives, they use the same frameworks, methods, and tactics that got them there to keep them there.

🤑 They iterate. They never stop experimenting, tweaking, and trying new creative ways to get their messages, brand, and business across.

🤑 They know how to tell a story (the hero's journey) and sell that story to the masses. They leverage these skills to build a community of dedicated fans (or like Zach Pogrob likes to call it, a "cult")

🤑 They give away all of their best knowledge for free and teach EVERYTHING that they know.

🤑 They understand human psychology and human tendencies.

🤑 They're not afraid to lose it all, and if they do "lose it all" they're creative enough to build it back up.

🤑 They have some sort of daily practice (i.e. James Altucher writes 10 new ideas every day, and sometimes sends them to people for free).

🤑 They say "Yes," to scary things. They ask "ridiculous" questions. And stretch their rejection muscles often.

🤑 They go on "unthinkable" quests and adventures just to be in the right rooms, with the right people, at the right time.

🤑 They're not cheap when it comes to their dreams, goals, and aspirations.

🤑 They have "Mailbox Money" Projects. Side projects and businesses that allow them to get paid like clockwork consistently. (CC: Greg Isenberg)

🤑 They don't do it alone. They form partnerships with other ambitious people who know how to execute when it's time to do so.

None of this is overly complex, but almost none of it is “normal” thinking either.

Most people are looking for new information, but the people winning at a high level are just operating from a completely different set of principles. And once you see it, you can’t really unsee it.

So the real question is…

Which one of these are you actually going to apply? Because reading this won’t change anything. But using even one of these the right way just might.

🤔 QTNA #1: Which of these mindsets challenged the way you currently think the most?

🤔 QTNA #2: What’s one “back door” you could use to get into a room you don’t currently have access to?
